Keep Cards is a publishing enterprise based in London, a city well known for its huge and rich indie galleries offering.
It was while visiting one of those galleries that the idea of Keep Cards was born: why don’t try to capture the variety of the graphic art offering by reproducing the output of some of the best emerging talent in the field, on greeting cards?
We believe that greeting cards are a simple and friendly way to bring the wealth of really good visual work made by young artists to a new and as wide an audience as possible. Since then we have supplied many leading retailers such as Tate Modern, Conran and Selfridges while expanding our collaborations with many artist from all over the world, and will continue to do so while also developing our in house ranges.
“Receiving a card in the mail is a pretty heart-warming sentiment, but let's face it – how many do you look at just once before stashing them in a drawer or sentencing them straight to the recycling bin? The folk over at Keep Cards think that's a darn shame, which is why their collection of greeting cards feature original prints by a stable of specially chosen up-and-coming artists, giving them a second life atop your mantel, bedside table or framed and hung front and centre in the living room”.
"As far removed from Clintons as you can get, Keep Cards is all about celebrating the work of up-and-coming graphic artists using greetings cards as a way of spreading their work to as wide an audience as possible".
